1. What do you do for a living? I'm a rancher.

2. What do you enjoy doing outside of riding? Hunting and fishing, the typical country hobbies.

3. How did you get started in rodeo? I started in 6th grade when some of my friends got involved. I participated in Junior and High School rodeo and was on the University of Western Montana college rodeo team.

4. What is your horse's name? How old is he or she? French Cash Yawl, aka Cash. He is a 9 yr. old gelding.

5. How would you describe his/her style? Cash is a free runner. He really came along faster than I expected. He was my back-up horse, but I had to step him up when my main horse died last year of heart failure. Unfortunately I stating having trouble with him at the end of this summer and discovered he has navicular. So, after two big blows to my line-up, I'm working on my next horses now. This will be the first time in 7 years that I didn't make the circuit finals.

6. Does he/she have any quirks that make them unique? He is kind of stand offish. Hw doesn't like a lot of attention, he just wants to do his job.

7. What is your riding regiment during rodeo season? Try to ride everyday. I usually ride 2 or 3 horses in the morning, and then use a few to do my ranch work during the day, and then ride the rest in the evening.

8. Do you have any superstitions or quirks when competing? I don't carry money in my pocket.

9. Do you have any hauling partners? Jessica Routier and Amy Holmes.

10. What is your favorite rodeo to compete at? Cheyenne, WY. I like the set up of the arena, the hospitality was very good, and they always have a packed crowd.

11. What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you? I drink like a 6 pack of coke a day. I think I'm addicted to the stuff…must be from all the late night drives rodeoing:)

12. What is your goal for this rodeo season? I'm determined to make it back to the circuit finals. I also want make to more rodeos and try to get into the top 50, so I can qualify for some of the big rodeos.
