•  8/16/11 - Important: 2011 California Circuit Finals Information…. The WPRA Board has voted to allow the San Bernardino, Poway and Barstow rodeos to count toward the 2011 CA Circuit Rodeo Count. This exception is being made for 2011 only. These rodeos will not count toward the 2012 CA Circuit Rodeo Count. Given the recent change in the timing of the CA Circuit Finals, it was felt the inclusion of the 3 rodeos was the fair and right thing to do.

•  8/11/11 - Riverside, CA 8/14/11 barrel race, approved.

•  6/1/11 - Santa Maria Elk Rodeo, Santa Maria, CA has furnished a protocol for contestants, as well as a waiver to be signed.

•  5/28/11 - All Salinas, CA 6/11/11 co-approved and junior barrel races, cancelled due to EHV-1.

•  5/26/11 - Sacramento, CA 6/5/11 co-approved barrel race, cancelled due to EHV-1.

•  5/26/11 - Lincoln, CA 5/28/11 co-approved barrel race, cancelled due to EHV-1.

•  5/18/11 - Sacramento, CA 5/20/11co-approved barrel race has been cancelled due to EHV-1.

•  5/18/11 - Morro Bay, CA 5/22/11 co-approved barrel race has been cancelled.

•  5/17/11 - Bakersfield, CA 5/28/11 - 5/29/11 and 6/26/11 co-approved and junior barrel races have been cancelled.

•  4/20/11 - King City, CA 5/14/11 co-approved barrel race has been approved.

•  3/20/11 - Morro Bay, CA 3/20/11 is cancelled due to weather.

•  2/27/11 - Bakersfield, CA 2/26/11co-approved and junior barrel races have been rescheduled to 3/6/11.

•  2/27/11 - Tulare, CA 3/26-3/27/11 co-approved barrel race will now be held in Portville, CA.

•  2/27/11 - Tulare, CA 3/26/2011 barrel race co-approved with the NBHA CA 13 has been cancelled.

•  2/16/11 - Wisconsin Department of Agriculture requires all equine animals entering the Madison, WI rodeo grounds to have the following documentation to participate.

1. Original and a copy of the laboratory report of a negative equine infectious anemia (EIA) test conducted after Jan 1, 2011 which clearly identifies the equine animal be registration number, lip tattoo or a complete description of the equine animal.

2. Original and a copy of the certificate of veterinary inspection issued within 30 days of Midwest Horse Fair if you are coming from another state.

If the above paper work is not provided, the contestant will not be allowed on the grounds.

•  1/10/11 - Bakersfield, CA 1/8 & 1/9 co-approved and junior barrel races have been rescheduled to 1/15 & 1/16.
