Thank you for your WPRA membership. You are a member of one of the strongest Circuits in the Nation. CA Circuit offers Circuit, Divisional, Permit, Junior Year End Finals. Futurity, Derby and Roping Awards; offering something in every Division of the WPRA to those who work all week, enter on the weekend mostly, supporting our CA Circuit!
The 2016 WPRA CA Circuit Finals will be held October 7th & 8th in Lancaster at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. We will invite the top 12 Rodeo Qualifiers with money won at CA Circuit Rodeos who have their required rodeo count and who enter the CCF.
Cut off date for CCF will be September 7th.
Our CA Circuit Divisional/Permit/Junior Finals will be held November 5th in Shandon along with the 2016 Spurr Ranch Barrel Challenge.
Cut off date for CDF/CPF/CJF is September 30th. The Divisional Finals will be sponsored by Wrangler, inviting the top 12 Divisional girls with the most money won at WPRA co- approved Divisional barrel races, in the 1D. The Permit Finals will consist of the top 12 Permit girls counting money won at Rodeos & WPRA co approved Divisional barrel races in the 1D. The Junior Finals will consist of the top 12 Juniors counting money won at WPRA co approved Divisional Junior races, money won in 1D.
To be eligible you must enter the Finals by entry close time; tbd.
To qualify and be eligible to compete at Finals you must sell $120.00 worth of raffle tickets with ticket money turned in or post marked no later than September 15th. If you qualify for any of our CA Finals and you have not turned in your raffle tickets; you may do so after September 15th; however there will be a $50.00 late fee.
This ticket money is to purchase jackets, awards, etc for you the qualifier. If I don’t have the money prior to this date it is impossible to spend the money on this years awards as most awards I order take at the minimum of 8 weeks to be made.
It’s frustrating when we are at the Finals and I am still accepting raffle ticket money from those who have qualified for the Finals. I would like to see that money turned in by September 15th. I appreciate your understanding!
If you qualify and have not sold your tickets; you may run at the Finals, but you will not be eligible for awards. If you qualify in more than one division you must sell tickets for each qualified Division to receive awards.
Raffle Tickets will be sold for $10.00 each. We will draw a winner November 5th at the Divisional Finals in Shandon during a big drag. The winner will receive two Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Plaza Seats Sunday December 4th, 2016 Fourth Performance.
Thank you in advance and if you have any questions you may contact me anytime.
