The Board of Directors and the staff of the Clark County Fair, Inc are deeply saddened to announce that the 2020 Clark County Fair & Rodeo scheduled for April 8-12 will not be held. 3/13/20 - Release for Nashville, GA, Cotton Blossom Roundup

Berrien County Chamber of Commerce and Development Authority
The Berrien County Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Berrien County Board of Commissioners has made the difficult decision to post-pone the Cotton Blossom Rodeo.

Our first priority will always be the health and well-being of our vendors, visitors and staff members. Prior to March 12, 2020, local recommendations indicated that we could have a safe and successful rodeo; however, with guidance received late Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, and in light of the fact that our school district as well as our recreation department will be closed; we regret that we must post-pone the Cotton Blossom Rodeo.
Tickets pre-purchased for the rodeo will be refunded. We are working with PRCA to reschedule the event for a later date. We will be in contact with our sponsors in regard to the date change and sponsorship agreements.

Public health officials continue to advise that social distancing is the most effective strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We recognize that this schedule change will create challenges for our vendors, but we also recognize our responsibility to protect the health of visitors, vendors, and the general public. We appreciate your support and understanding of this decision and wish you good health in the coming days.

Governor Brown’s order cancels Coastal High Desert Stampede due to COVID-19

REDMOND, OREGON — In light of the onslaught of the most significant pandemic in recent memory, and Oregon State Governor Kate Brown’s order preventing gatherings larger than 250 people, we at the Coastal High Desert Stampede wish all of our sponsor/partners, volunteers, fans, athletes, and your families the best of health.

Reluctantly, we must announce that the 2020 Coastal High Desert Stampede has been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic.

We aim to bring the best athletes and livestock together each year in an ongoing annual tradition. Denis Fast, Chairman of the Board for the Coastal High Desert Stampede said, “we will respectfully comply with the Governor’s order and hope to see the measures succeed in mitigating the spread of the virus in our communities”.

This is obviously a developing situation and we are actively working on our plans to cope with the cancellation. 3/11/20 - Dear Rodeo Athletes:

In the interest of public health, the City of Houston and the Houston Health Department have ordered the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ to close. The Rodeo will respectfully and dutifully comply with the City’s order.

The Rodeo is deeply saddened; however, the safety and well-being of our guests and our community is our top priority. Out of precaution, the City has decided that this is the best course of action for our community.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has been a fabric of this community since 1932. Having to close early is extremely difficult as guests, volunteers, exhibitors, rodeo athletes and entertainers look forward to the 20 days of the Rodeo each year.

We look forward to the 2021 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to continue to promote agriculture, education, entertainment and Western heritage. We will provide additional information as it becomes available. Updates will be posted at rodeohouston.com/2020.

Thus, beginning today, we will not have any further RODEOHOUSTON competition for 2020.

Again, we are incredibly saddened by this change. We are aware of the tremendous impact this cancellation places on each of you. Thank you all for your understanding as we follow the City’s order.
