Personal
Husband, Joseph Gernentz (PRCA steer wrestler, tie-down roper and bull rider)… Other occupation and hobbies are training futurity barrel horses. Trained a mare called Salena that Stephanie Fryar bought and competed on at the 2008 Wrangler NFR…Parents are Tommy Bynum, a rancher and PRCA member, and Cindy Hardy, who sells insurance. She has one brother, Bradley, who is also a PRCA member…Raised on a ranch and started riding at age 3…Credits Randy and Lisa Ogden for providing her with good horses and advice…Favorite rodeo is San Antonio because it's close to her home in Colorado City and it pays well. Favorite food is Mexican, favorite sports team is the Dallas Cowboys, favorite fast food spots are Taco Johns, Taco Bell and Subway, favorite TV Show is Dancing with the Stars, favorite is color is red because it is bright and colorful, and favorite soft drink is Dr. Pepper…Played basketball in high school but had to give it up to compete in rodeo and also did a little cheerleading growing up…Had planned to be a physical therapist but was in the heart of the rodeo season when she had to do her clinical work so decided against that route.
