Personal
In addition to being a professional barrel racer she also is a trainer…She makes a variety of custom leather products ranging from breast collars to purse straps. Each product is completely custom made…Travels with Danyelle Campbell and Kelli Tolbert (2009 WPRA Rookie of the Year)…Raised in a family that had nothing to do with horses, much less own them, she developed a horse sense from afar. Self-diagnosed as horse crazy, the first time she mounted one of the majestic animals was at the age of 13. She worked to raise money in an effort to feed her affliction. She began riding English jumping horses then worked her way to a position as an assistant racehorse trainer in the Northwest. She didn't understand the rodeo way of life until her first marriage, which was to a bull rider. In addition to barrel racing, she's quite handy, having won roping and all-around titles throughout a career that has heavily involved amateur rodeos, even winning the all-around against the men.
