PESI Progeny...On The Road & In The Money…
OBD Heart And Soul (by Other Brotha Darryl) and Dolli Lautaret won second in second round and third in the average at the Sidewinder Futurity in Ceres, California, highest placing PESI enrolled progeny at the event. Lauteret and OBD Heart And Soul captured fourth at Tulare, California BTM South Futurity race sanctioned by BRN4D. Both events ran in April. The pair also won the first go and placed seond in the average at Pac West's Fast & Furious Barrel Futurity in City of Industry, CA over the Labor Day weekend for a total of $1,025 in Futurity and PESI Bonus money.

Firewater Finale (a PESI enrolled stallion) made his futurity competition debut at the Double B Barrel Bash in Broken Bow, NE which ran May 15-17. The handsome golden palomino exhibited the speed and athleticism that are a trademark of his bloodlines, earning $750 in PESI Bonus for his efforts. Firewater Finale is a son of the immortal Fire Water Flit, his dam is Im A Little Bully by Bully Bullion, and his second dam is Fluently by Easily Smashed.

Flaming For Cash & Osage Destiny picked up PESI Derby Bonus money at Broken Bow. Michelle Jacobs-Stobbe jockeyed Flaming For Cash (by Cash Not Credit) and Connie Snover was in the stirrups of Osage Destiny (by PC Frenchmans Mark) with both horses placing in the 1D in the round.

Congratulations to all the WPRA Members & PESI Enrollees who were in the money at The Old Fort Days Barrel Futurity May 20-23! WPRA Members captured more than the 50% of the total $361,445.64 purse. $115,142.13 of the $275,945.64 Futurity purse went to WPRA Members, and $61,003.80 of the $85,500 Derby purse was won by WPRA Members. PESI Stallion Owners were also well represented with Joleen Stewart claiming the Futurity Reserve Championship aboard Return Of The Bully, owned by Jud Little Ranch (who also owns PESI Stallion Cash Not Credit). JB Quarter Horses' (whose stallions are all enrolled in PESI) Miss JB 055 picked up 4th place honors under the guidance of Kassie Mowry. Sparkinson (by PESI Stallion Smoke N Sparks) made the cut for the Ft. Smith short round and placed 25th for rider Leslie Willis. In the Derby, PESI enrollees Yeah Hes Firen (by Alive N Firen) and French Covergirl (by Frenchmans Guy) placed 3rd and 13th respectively for Brittany Pharr.
