WPRA Adds Pro Elite Futurity Slot Race to the World Finals!
Norman, OK - The 2011 WPRA World Finals is definitely turning up the heat on the upcoming 2011 World Finals, slated to run October 14-16, 2011 when it returns to the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln, NE for the association's season finale. A high stakes slot race will raise the bar for contestants, sponsors and spectators alike when the industry's top 4 and 5 year old futurity horse compete in a one round head to head competition for a purse that could top out at $37,500. Slot are currently being sold for the race, with 25 slots available at price tag of $1500 each. Slots are limited to 1 slot per owner and riders will be limited to one horse per rider in the WPRA Pro Futurity Slot Race competition. All horses running in the slot race will also be required to enter the $13,500 Added WPRA Pro Futurity. The WPRA Pro Futurity Slot race is establishing new dimensions as it is the only slot race open only to women contestants and 5 year old futurity horses. The race is the headliner class slated for the October 15th Saturday evening performance that will also include the Junior Barrel Racing Short Round, All-Girls Roping Bonus Rounds and Kids Mutton Busting.
