Bio: ANTE UP GUY, a.k.a. “Red”, is a 2004 son of Frenchmans Guy out of a daughter of Marthas Six Moons whose broodmare sire is none other than the great Easily Smashed! Ante Up Guy is a gorgeous sorrel, well built stallion, standing 15H, with good bone and great feet and legs. He passes these good traits on to his offspring, along with his good-natured personality.

ANTE UP GUY is broke and has been started on the barrel pattern. His first crop of ONE foal is a 5 year old in 2012, and was running 1D times and earning rodeo dollars as a 4 year old. There are pictures and video of this horse on the stallion page of our website. Folks who own his offspring are all in agreement that they are athletic, personable and very easily trainable. You only need to glance at the results of any major futurity or derby to realize the power of Frenchmans Guy grandget in the barrel pen…the addition of Marthas Six Moon blood definitely makes this stallion a potent choice as a barrel horse sire.

ATTAWAY JOSE show career was cut short after earning only 1.5 AQHA points due to a devastating injury. He showed such promise and ability that he has only been standing to our mares and to a few outside select mares.

His progeny are roping, running barrels, cutting, and are working ranch horses. They have incredible minds, being quick learners, and retain what they are taught. They have lots of "cow", quick speed, and sting, all the desirable traits for great barrel horses. Attaway Jose already has a strong following.  It's been said many times "If you ride a Jose colt, you'll want one!"

Looking at his pedigree and you'll see that Attaway Jose shares the top bloodlines of the nation's leading sires.  His sire is the great Smart Little Lena, who's incredible performance and sire record is world renowned!  His dam Sugar Star Colonel (x Colonel Freckles) has produced money earners in multiple events.

Attaway Jose has proven himself as great sire, and is now offered to the public. Don't miss out on an amazing opportunity to own and ride your own Attaway Jose colt.

Blazin Jetolena is the perfect combination of barrel racing's magic potion - run & cow, with a little Thoroughbred thrown in for good measure. He is by an own son of Doc Olena, and out of an own daughter of Jet of Honor, with some Sugar Bars and War Chic on the dam's side of his sire, and a winning Thoroughbred line on the dam's side of his dam.

This elusive combination has proven very successful with Jet, as he is lovingly known. He was, according to Equistat, the Top Money Earning Futurity horse in the nation in 2003 as a four year old with over $76,000 in earnings. He was the average champion in seven futurities, reserve in two, and the top five in several others. He went on as a five year old to the AW4D finals 1D championship, breaking arena records and winning barrel races along the way to end up retiring with over $120,000 in winnings including helping Melanie Southard make a trip to the WNFR in Las Vegas. He and Ryan Lovendahl were also voted #11 in Barrel Horse News "Top 12 Greatest Barrel Racing Teams of All Time" by the readers.

Jet is also proving that he is passing on his amazing abilities to his offspring. He was just named #18 on the Top 25 Leading Sires (All Ages) List for 2011, with his first foal crop being only seven years old. His sons and daughters are so user friendly, that owners are fast becoming, breeders, trainers, riders and WINNERS! His babies also retain a very high resale value. See what everyone is talking about, become a BJO collector!!

BCM NONSTOP NITRO is 15 hands and approximately 1,150 lbs. Nitro has a docile disposition and always tries to please. When being halter broke as a baby I knew he was special, he did everything I asked plus more that day. Nitro has always been an easy horse to train and was being rode outside by the third day. Absolutely nothing bothers this horse. I really think this is going to be a big time rodeo horse sire. Nitro possesses great bone and that is really important for a horse going down the road in competitions.

By Nonstop Bubblin Performance Record: AQHA Superior Barrel rAcing (1999-Open), Superior Barrel Racing (1997-Amateur), Hi-Point Barrel Racing / 7th Place (1995 Amateur), Justin Rookie of the Year 30 & Under / 4th Place (1995 Amateur), World Show Barrel Racing / 7th Place (1995 Amateur), Qualified Senior Barrel Racing World Show (1995-Open), Performance Register of Merit (1995-Amateur & Open), 32 Performance wins, 117.5 Points, two Performance ROMs, 2 Performance Superiors, and more than $85,000 in barrel race earnings; Race Record: si 86, winner with earnings of $6,616 on the track. You all know how special “Bubba” was to me, I feel Nitro is going to be a Bubba Jr, I really feel that when I ride him.

Nitro is backed by exceptional bloodlines top and bottom. He is out of one of the best daughters of Doc O Dynamite who is know for siring Champions in cutting, reining, roping and barrel racing with earnings over $600,000 in cutting and reining alone. His barrel racing progeny include an NFR Qualifier/Finalist with individual earnings over $200,000, while roping offspring have banked nearly $100,000.

Nitro’s colts are gorgeous with keen head, big hips, low hocks and lots of defining muscle. We have had one palomino, two grullo or black colts and one bay, that might turn color which indicates he will be a sire for great color. He wouldn’t stand on our place if we didn’t think he was exceptional in every way. His first performers hit the arenas in 2013, the first one is already a money earner – watch for John Henry and Jeanne Anderson!

Once upon a time on a warm spring day in California, at the Vessels stallion farm, our beautiful DASH TA FAME was born... 3 weeks late!  Earl Holmes, the stallion manager said toBob "your baby looks like a world champion, and your mare is ok."  Bob said "stop pulling my leg" and Earl said, " I have foaled out many many foals and I mean it, yours looks like a world champion."  Well, he didn't turn out to be a world champion, but he was a very successful race horse and sire.  We didn't expect him to be such an awesome addition to the barrel racing agenda!!   We are very proud and grateful to own such a stallion.  We are also very proud and grateful that he is part of a organization with such awesome Christian people.  We have enjoyed meeting many of the you who are riding horses sired by DASH TA FAME.  His progeny have enjoyed many, many accomplishments, but a couple of the most recent include:

DASH TA FAME sired two finalists at the 2009 NFR.  Sue Smith on Real Claim Ta Fame and Danyelle Campbell on Repete Fame have both done very well.  We congratulate you both on your success!!

Lance Graves won the $100.00 BFA world championship superstakes in OKC on "Famous Silk Panties"  What a super run!!

We wish you all good luck and hope your DASH TA FAME’s are the very best and that they will take you to your highest level in your barrel racing adventures!!

Quick footed and cowy, go hand in hand with Docs American Boy, a stallion bred to run. His sire, Docs Juniper was a Full brother to Docs Jack Frost -Sunfrost's Sire. Beautiful heads and big hips with good bone are characteristics of all of Merrick's offspring.  They have proven, they can run and turn.

If you are interested in a horse with heart and the willingness to work and run, these offspring are for you.  Whether you are barrel racing or roping, their dispositions are unbeatable.

We are currently looking for a partner to stand Merrick or to sell him, so he would be located in a more accessible location. He is a great stallion who passes these quality traits on to his offspring. We would be happy to visit with you at any time about any of our horses, from prospects to finished barrel horses.
