Bio: We are very proud to own and stand FIRE ON BUG - 15.1 hands, 1175 lbs.

“Malone” is the product of one the most respected barrel horse breeding programs in the industry having been bred and raised by Vickie Adams of Collinsville, TX. The caliber and quality of his breeding is rare. He is double bred Flit Bar and by legendary barrel horse sire, Fire Water Flit. His dam is money winning barrel mare, Leetta Bug Flit who is by the renowned Shawne Bug, by Lady Bugs Moon. Barrel Horse News reports that four descendants of AQHA Hall Of Fame mare, FL Lady Bug, appear on the leading barrel maternal sires’ list – two of those four are listed on Fire On Bug’s papers, Shawne Bug, and Lady Bugs Moon. As calculated by FQHA, Fire On Bug is 78.125% foundation bred.

“Malone” has excellent confirmation and is built solid with good bone. His feet are hard as rocks. He is balanced and built to work. When you get on him you know you have a horse underneath you. We are currently training him and are looking forward to great things! He is following in the Flit Bar tradition with the very characteristic way of getting his hindquarters low in the ground with low flat turns. In a lifetime of riding and running barrels this is without a doubt one of the nicest, most talented horses I have ever ridden.
“Malone” is showing plenty of speed while being extremely good minded and level headed to ride. His personality is unbeatable. You can’t help but fall in love with his beauty and easy going way. As a young up and coming sire, Fire On Bug has the whole package from his breath taking color to legendary breeding and athletic ability.

We would like to thank you for your interest in this awesome horse and invite you to share in our dream. It takes a legendary foundation to build your legend.

He is also a 7/8ths brother to Sherry Cervi's horse and WPRA PESI Stallion Dinero, which is the sire of Cervi's current mount Stingray that won the 2009 Wrangler NFR average title.

Fab has a disposition better than most geldings. He was started on barrels by Jordon Peterson (2004 Texas High School Rodeo Barrel Racing Champion, 2004 Josey Jr. World Champion, 2009 Wrangler NFR qualifier and daughter of Kristie Peterson, who rode Bozo to four WPRA World Titles). He was ridden in 2003 and 2004 by WPRA and multiple NFR qualifier, Sue Miller and is still used today as a team roping horse both heading and heeling.

A Proven barrel competitor..... Fabulous was a top arena competitor, multiple Barrel Futurity Finalist and 1D winner at large barrel functions. He was also a 2002 Rope Futurity finalist winning a Reserve Championship with just two showings as a 4 year old. A 2003 Calf Roping Reserve Championship in just one showing while also serving double duty in the barrel futurities as a 5 year old.

Fabulous' pedigree has both Clabber & Driftwood, which are the foundation of the Nichols horse program. Fab was added to the Nichols Farm to compliment the program and continue the bloodlines that have been in place for four (4) generations. Fab is out of the legendary mare Casey's Charm and Frenchmans Guy. Casey's Charm, "the nations number 1 barrel racing matron with close to $3 million in progeny earnings and sales" was raised by Frances Loiseau and is featured in LEGENDS Volume 6. Casey's Charm dam is Casey's Ladylove, which started the Loiseau's dynasty. Fab is double-bred Casey's Ladylove residing on the top and bottom of his pedigree.

Fab's first full foal crop is now 5-years old and they are showing up in the winner's circle from coast to coast including at several WPRA events. In 2009, Fab's oldest Shes A Fabulous carried PRCA Steer Wrestler Blake Knowles to his first Wrangler NFR qualification. Knowles also used this mare as his calf horse and heel horse, making her a very versatile horse which is a great trademark of Fab and his offspring.

Fabulous is a power-packed stallion. At 14.3 HH, 1100 lbs, he is a richly bred stud, a high caliber competitor and a proven young sire. His mind is quiet and incredibly intelligent, his movement powerful but smooth, and his quickness unbelievable. Fabulous is a strong breeding stallion-siring impressive foals stamped with his class, well-built confirmation, substance and athletic ability. His heart and try, versatility, long fluid movement, explosive speed, extreme intelligence, and kind disposition put him among the elite for a future in the performance/barrel horse industry. Fab is a phenomenal athlete with a pedigree to match.

Frostman San Peppy (better known as Pablo) is a 1997 buckskin foundation registered AQHA stallion.  He is a son of Frenchmans Guy out of a foundation/working mare that we used on the ranch. For those people looking for a nice outcross on speed bred or TB mares, he is also an excellent choice. Pablo is an accomplished barrel horse winning at futurities, derbies, and rodeos.  He is a 2 time Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo qualifier, and he is also a successful cowboy mounted shooting horse.  He has won 2 CMSA World Division Titles (M3 and M4) as a mounted shooting horse, and is also an outstanding ranch horse with a lot of cow sense.

Pablo's foals are keen headed, big-hipped, and straight legged. He passes on his good, hard feet and his long strided, easy way of going. His foals are successful rope, barrel, and mounted shooting horses.  He is the sire of several barrel, rope, ranch, and mounted shooting horses out of a very limited foal crop.  His son, Pacific Frostman, owned by Wallace Quarter Horses of Nebraska, won over $11,000 in the 2010 barrel futurity season with very limited hauling.  Look for more of Pablo's foals hitting the arena in the next few years!

If you are looking for an athletic, even tempered, hard working, structurally correct, willing to please stallion, you need to breed to IMA FIREFIGHTER!  He is a barrel money winner in the 1D and a Mid-States Rodeo Finals qualifier. He is very smooth and collected around the barrels yet he has phenomenal speed and quickness too.  He is powerful out of his turns and truly loves running barrels.  It is bred into him and will be passed along to his offspring.

He is finished in the healing and has been started in the calf-roping. He runs hard to cattle, has natural rate when he gets to them, and has a deep stop. Besides arena work, he has been used for ranch work and he loves it! He never quits, he just keeps going even after working all day.

Besides the PESi program he is also paid into the Future Fortunes, the Cornhusker, Valley Girls, Bold Heart, Hawki, and the JJ Classic.  He will be on the 5-States list shortly.  We are also considering the following programs: Northern Lights, Canadian Barrel Incentive, MN Lakes, MN Barrel Assoc, Alberta Barrel Assoc... Please let us know which ones you want to see his foals eligible for!
