Contestants with animals must check in at the entrance to the Fairgrounds and present the following to be admitted entrance: Texas Animal Health Commission: The following guidelines are established in compliance with the Texas Animal Health Commission Regulations governing admission of livestock into fairs and exhibitions and additional rules posted by Rodeo Austin to ensure the health and well-being of animals exhibited at the Show. Equine may enter Texas for shows, fairs, exhibitions, or assembly purposes when accompanied by a valid interstate passport or equine identification card and a completed VS Form 10-11 showing negative results to an official DIA test within the previous six (6) months or a certificate of veterinary inspection and a completed VS Form 10-11 showing negative results to an official EIA test within the past 12 months. (*The veterinary certificate of inspection will be accepted as valid within 20 days.) Equine originating in a tick quarantined area must be accompanied by a certificate issued by an authorized representative Texas Animal Health Commission certifying the equine are free from infestation and exposure to fever ticks and have been dipped or treated under supervision in an approved dipping solution or treatment immediately prior to shipping. Equine originating in a scabies quarantined area must be accompanied by an entry permit along with certification that the herd of origin is declared free of scabies or exposure to scabies and equine have been either dipped with approved dip or injected with Ivermectin. Contestants must abide by Rodeo Austin regulations for entry and exit with animals. Individuals who violate animal entry policies will be subject to immediate election from the premises.T here will be no preparation, re-work or raking during the competition. Judges scots/times are official. Each contestant must complete and sign a Rodeo Austin Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement and present it to the Rodeo Secretary prior to her first competition Each contestant will be furnished with a Rodeo Austin back number, which must be worn or displayed in its entirety at all times when in the Competition Arena. If a contestant has an existing patch sponsorship involving the cantle/yoke of the shirt, then the contestant may wear the Rodeo Austin back number immediately below the existing cantle/yoke patch. Only actual contestant and one companion allowed gate access. WPRA members who are not entered will not be given free admission. No dogs will be allowed on the grounds. Contestants must enter facilities via Gate 2 off of Decker Lane. Parking is available on a first come, first-served basis in Lot H and/or I. Contestants agree to be available to Rodeo Austin staff for media interviews during the days/evenings that they are participating in a performance. The highest scoring contestant in each event, of each performance, are asked to participate in a minimum one-hour signing autograph session following each performance. The top contestants in each event must be present for the awards presentation at the conclusion of her event during the Finals performance. The event winner(s) must then take a victory lap. The top contestant(s) in each event are requested to be present for the Rodeo Austin Buckle Presentation immediately following the finals performance and concert. This Presentation will take place at the 100X Club. Each event winner(s) will be awarded a championship buckle.
