Ground Rules:Two Rounds + Finals Slack will start at
8:00am each day Aug 1-4. There will be no more than
30 contestants per slack. Fastest 10 to the performance
each night will be run in random order. The remaining
contestants will run their 2nd go-round following the
PRCA slack Reverse order with all turn-outs, non-notified
turn-outs and releases taken out. Drag after 10 run.
Finals will be top 12 random draw. (Ties amount the
top ten to compete in the performances and their order
will be determined by random draw). Ready when called:
shall mean that the contestant must be ready to run
into the arena as soon as called by the Timed Event
Chute Boss or Pro Official. If a contestant is not ready
when called, Time Event Chute Boss or Pro Official may
fine contestant $200. On the run in and run out contestants
must maintain forward motion. Barrel racing contestants
will start from the same alley and same gate and shall
enter the arena ready to run. There will be no preparation,
re-work or raking during a performance. A limited number
of stalls, electric and water hookups are available
on a first come, first serve basis free or charge. User
of their hookups agree to park in a manner that all
may use the available hookups. Contestant parking is
primarily to the east of the arena. Overflow parking
is available directly southeast of the arena. All areas
to the west of the arena is fan parking. Any contestants
parking in fan parking must move to contestant parking
by 4pm each day. GBR approved for first event in slack.
Trade deadline-June 25 5:00pm. No conflict will be guaranteed
at all Gold and Silver tour rodeos (if possible), as
long as the contestant does not create the conflict
by giving conflicting preferences. A contestant should
not use the No Same Day preference in this instance
unless she wants the possibility of being drawn out.
