Fort Worth, TX — The 119th edition of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo swung to its conclusion on Saturday, February 7 with two performances including the Championship Round on Saturday night.

For the ladies of the WPRA, there were two prizes at stake: a share of the half million dollar purse for the rodeo itself and an additional bonus of $5,000 to the lady voted the best dressed for the Jerry Ann Taylor Award. The award is sponsored by the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in honor of the late Jerry Ann Taylor, a Hall of Fame trick rider.

Kendra Dickson has had a hand in both the first two awards given here; she won it herself in 2013 and helped design 2014 winner Jane Melby's award-winning outfit. Dickson was back again in 2015 but faced stiff competition from another past winner of the award, Fallon Taylor. Though she hadn't won here in Fort Worth, Taylor took the award at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in 2013 and 2014.

As it turned out, Dickson would prevail again. Wearing gold in support of children's cancer, as she always does, Dickson sparkled her way through the short go to capture the award again in2015.

Congratulations and thanks to all those that support this award.
