Ground Rules: Format will be: One Round + a Progressive (120) and a Finals (12+ties); the first round will be held at the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena: 4722 Grape Creek Road, Monday March 28, 9:00am. The top 120 will compete in the ten performances slowest to fastest with a random draw in each performance. Ties will be broken by taking the highest placing contestant in the 2022 WPRA Pro Rodeo World Standings as of March 22, 2022. If still tied, it will be broken taken by taking the highest placing contestant in the 2021 WPRA Pro Rodeo World Standings. Trades must be completed with the secretary two hours after the completion of the first go round. The "30 hour replacement policy" will be in effect for the progressive. Top 12 + ties will compete in the short go, random draw. If any contestant turn outs at least 3 hours prior to the short round, Procom will contact the next qualifying person and continue to do so until they find someone to take the position. Must have current coggins and health papers. During slack tractor drag after every 5 runs and rework after every 50 runs. Rodeo Performances: Barrel Racers enter pattern in coliseum from holding pen located inside coliseum and exit out of alley. Hand Rake after every contestant during performance. Gate at the end of the alley will be used in the Foster Communications Coliseum during performances. The alley way will NOT be fenced/paneled to narrow the arena. If you have a horse that has trouble stopping or running in a straight line upon exiting, you need to prepare accordingly. In order to maintain a level playing field as possible there will be NO open riding time and thus no contestants on horseback in the Foster Communications Coliseum at any time. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification. Back numbers must be worn during performances. Horses in stalls only.

Contestants will be asked to sign autographs and mingle with VIP's in Rodeo Sky box. All contestants must wear back numbers provided by Red Bluff Round-Up Rodeo Secretary, which must be visible at all times upon entrance to the rodeo grounds, whether competing or not. Any misuse of back number will be cause for disqualification. In the times events, only the contestant who is competing is allowed in the arena. No horses are allowed in arena when tractor is working. Companion ticket may be requested from a designated contestant at check-in booth prior to each performance. Replacement contestant will fill in turned out contestants spot in order and performance date. Qualifications: 34 from the 2021 Pro Rodeo Breakaway World Standings; 22 from the 2022 Pro Rodeo Breakaway world standings based on winnings seven days prior to entry closing; 14 from the 2021 Pro Rodeo Breakaway California Circuit Standings; 10 from the 2022 Pro Rodeo Breakaway California Circuit Standings based on winnings seven days prior to entry closing. Ground Rules: Format: Two full go-rounds+Progressive+ Finals (8). First go – April 18, 2022 at 9am.Followed immediately by the second go ran in reverse order. Top 24 on two advance to the progressive round held during the three performances. All ties up to 27th will advance. If ties result in more than 27, then rulebook 10.3.5.5, tie will be broken by the fastest time on any one run. If tie cannot be broken, and split results in more than 27, drop all ties which cannot be broken such that no more than 27 advance. Progressive round is tradable. Trades must be completed with the rodeo secretary. Deadline is one hour following the conclusion of the second go round. Ca ttle will be walking dead fresh and will be chute ran. One for everyone. Cattle may be over weight limit.Cattle for short go will be pulled from the first and second rounds, not the progressive round, so that all short go calves will be third run. Barrier will be an electric eye. Length of score wil l be set by the WPRA Roping Director, stock contractor, and committee after the herd has been established but prior to the initial competition draw (may be longer than Rulebook specifications). Contestants must adhere to parking regulations. No horses will be tied to any chain link fence. Tie in spe cified areas only.
