If any open positions remain in the 2022 Circuit qualification category, 2021 Mountain States Circuit Standings will be used to fill those open positions. The "30 hour replacement" policy will be in effect. Format will be: Two Rounds + Finals(12). First go held during the June 25th performance, June 26th performance and June 27th slack. Second go will be held during the June 27th performance, June 28th slack and performance, and June 29th performance flipped from first go. Top 12 after the second go will advance to the Finals on June 30th. If there is a tie for the top 12, it will be broken by taking the contestant with the single fastest run from either of the first two go rounds. If still tied, tie will be broken by taking the highest placing contestant in the 2022 WPRA Pro Rodeo World Standings as of June 6, 2022.
Tractor Drag after 6. All notified turn outs and Releases from each performance and slack will be taken out of the draw after the out deadline. Positions will move up and be posted at the rodeo office before the rodeo begins. I.E. If you are number 9 and there are 2 releases prior to you, you will be draw number 7. Committee will drag at 6 or fewer. The condensed drag order after 6 that is set in the first round will be used in the flipped second round. For example, if you are 1st on the drag in the 1st round, you will be last on the drag in the 2nd round.
Dress Code enforced during performances and slack. The arena is considered to start at the wall of the arena on the west end and from the back of the roping boxes across to fence around east end. Stampede provided back numbers must be worn during ticketed rodeo performances. Limited arena grandstand seating; admission for contestant and one companion. If there are not enough contestants in the 2022 Pro Rodeo Breakaway Mountain States Circuit Standings to fill the allotted positions, the remaining positions will be filled from the 2021 Pro Rodeo Breakaway Mountain States Circuit Standings. The "30 hour replacement" policy will be in effect. Format will be: Two Rounds + Finals(12). First go held during slack on June 21st. Second go will be a flip with contestants placed between slack directly following the first go and in the five performances. Top 12 after the second go will advance to the Finals on June 30th. If there is a tie for the top 12, it will be broken by using WPRA rule 10.3.5.5. Contestants must take their calf within 30 seconds of receiving the "all clear" from the designated judge. Time will not start until arena is clear and calf is loaded with the neck rope on. Except in the case of mechanical failure or problem with the competition animal in the timed event chute in the opinion of the judges, calf will be released upon reaching 30 seconds if contestant has not called for him. If an animal escapes the timed event chute(or a rerun is given for any other reason), the 1st extra will be used and will run last immediately after the event section. Only escaped animals return to the herd. Dress Code enforced during performances and slack.
