General Information
The Roping program has been an integral part of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association since its start in 1948 and is a place where our roots are firmly planted.
WPRA roping members compete through Co-approved Divisional Circuit events to accumulate money for circuit and world standings. All ropers are invited to the WPRA World Finals where World Champions are crowned in all roping events as well as All Around. At the circuit level year-end champions are crowned in Tie-Down, Breakaway and Team Roping heading & heeling.
